Man!

The Image and the Glory of God!

Man!

Be Strong and Courageous!

To become an effective and significant ministry to passionately reach Men for Christ in partnership with the church.

A total Christian Man who is committed, spirit-filled and strong in Christ character to positively impact the family, the church and the community.

We seek to encourage growth in knowledge and intimate relationship with God through intentional spiritual discipleship. In order to bring about a greater measure of unity and spirit of harmony in the body of Christ, where members are united in a common effort for the good of the entire body.

To provide a basis for a healthy fellowship among all the men in the Church by creating a ministry that is not in competition with any other ministry but cooperating with all ministries. Inspiring its members to be active and responsible at home, in the local church, and in the community. We aim at becoming positive icons in our community.

To become passionate ministers of Jesus’ movement under the power of the Holy Spirit. To witness to the presence and the power of God in the world today through the message of the Gospel for the total man, and by this, reach men (and women) for Christ, especially those having a similar social, cultural or business interests as the witness.

We are training men to model Christ in Humility, Wisdom, Growth, Integrity, and development in the workplace. Exercising cutting-edge professionalism in the spirit of excellence devoid of mediocrity and apathy.

In most cultures of the world, men are perceived to the repositories of knowledge and wisdom. This perception must be translated into reality, by ensuring that men become studious and approach issues with acuity and precision; and by extension encourage the younger generation to be studious.

Women's Ministry

Women’s Ministry embodies all the young ladies and women in the church. This is the ministry for the women to meet and dialogue or provide guidance on issues pertaining to womenfolk and their faith within the church and the community at large.

Our primary mandate is to disciple the young ladies to be virtuous women who rightly divide the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15) in their daily walk with God. The Women’s Ministry organizes the following activities to enrich its members: Marriage Seminars, Mentorship, Teleconference Prayers, Health Talks, Evangelism, Drama Skits, and many more…

We also carry out evangelism, counselling and sponsorship activities to help the welfare in the church and in the society.

Youth Ministry

The Youth ministry serves the spiritual needs of individuals between the ages of thirteen to nineteen (13-19) years. The church recognizes the youth as the future leaders of the church and society. There is, therefore, the need for them to be grounded firmly in the service of the Lord. Our heart’s cry is to raise a generation of Christians who love Christ and will influence the world with this love. The Christ in us is meant for the world. Join us as we show forth the love of Christ to our generation Christ in you, the hope of glory.

PENSA (Young Adults)

Pentecost Student Association (PENSA) is the ministry of the church dedicated to the young adults of the Vancouver district. It consists of young men and women ages 18 to 35 years of age who are yearning to mature spiritually. We are a large group made up of individuals ranging from part time students to graduates with job; singles to married couples living their lives with the glory of God in mind

The group is divided up into the RADIANT LADES for the young women and the VALOR for the young men. Each meeting begins with a fellowship over a meal and it ends with a deep discussion. We are able to be real and open with one another so that the word of God can be used to wash us, ground us, and build us up into the men and women that God desires for us to be. If you feel that the PENSA ministry is where you belong then we want you to know that you are more than welcome to join us.

PENSA operates under the following goals and objectives:

  • To win souls for Christ “Go ye into the world and preach the gospel to every creature, he that believe and is baptized shall be saved. (Mark 16:15-16).
  • Provide opportunity among students and alumni for spiritual edification and encourage deeper commitment to God’s work.
  • Help members to identify and develop the ministries and leadership potentials in the church.
  • Organize programs to meet the needs of students, recent graduates, and associates in the colleges and high schools such as conferences, workshops, seminar, and career fairs.
  • Provide the flow of information and interaction between the group, ministries within the Church and other institutions towards fellowship and spiritual. edification.
  • Provide the opportunity for students and associates to live their faith and continue in their commitment at home and on campus.
  • Create a forum for networking, cooperation, and familiarization with other Christian students and professionals within COP and other denominations.

Children's Ministry

The Children’s Ministry is the children’s wing of the church. It is made up of toddlers from the ages of 0 to 4 years, pre-schoolers from the ages of 4 to 8 years, and teens from the ages of 8 to 12 years.

The Children’s Ministry engages the kids in various Biblical edutainment activities in vibrant Sunday School to train them in the way they should go so when they grow they would not depart from it. Our curriculum consists of the AWANA programming in which we tailor each lesson to suit the needs of our classroom.

Jesus!

Friend of Little Children!!

Hi Hi Children!

Hi Hi Children of the Lord!

Some of the topics we cover are:

  • What is Christianity
  • Who is Jesus
  • What is salvation
  • What is sin

The lessons are paired with fun activities that are engaging for the children. The children’s ministry also has extracurricular activities planned for the children outside of the regular Sunday class time.

Music Ministry

The music ministry is made up of the varying generations of the church and as a result, we sing a wide range of music. Being a multicultural church we also sing songs from the varying cultures found in the church. The aim of this ministry is the worship and the praise of our Living God. Music is a means used to usher the people of God into thanksgiving, praise, worship, and prayers of supplication and so it is a large part of our service.

The Praise and Worship team meets every Saturday evening at church to prepare for the Sunday service and to learn new songs that are to be introduced to the church. Anyone with the gift of music is invited to join us, get to know us, and to support the music ministry. We do not take music lightly but we are a light-hearted group with a passion to lead the congregation in worship.
